hallo , ihr drei ! ich mußte mich echt aufraffen , um in dem scheißwetter von ottersberg nach rotenburg zu fahren ! aber das hat sich wirklich gelohnt . ich mach hier büro aufräumen, steuererklärung und nachdenken über mein lebenswerk - und dabei hör ich stunden um stunden eure cds (half gate / jiggin it) . ehrlich , ich bin ganz begeistert . in the sense of the word . vocals , rhythms , instruments - perfect . my very special beloved ones : brighid's kiss ; lamenting mulloney ; deus meus ; ding dong dedero ; ... and it will change soon to others . der irische dudelsack gefällt mir mächtig gut . er mischt sich auch sehr gut mit der fiddle . die studioaufnahmen sind sehr viel klarer als der sound im konzert . als ich in den raum kam und die vielen balken sah , hab ich das geahnt und mich ganz vorne links hingesetzt, um alles mitzukriegen. die balken , die schlucken . eure moderation ist sehr unterhaltsam und ich hatte den eindruck , mit diesen drei wunderbaren musikern ganz nah zusammenzusein . weil ich auch selber geige spiele , hatte ich mal wieder gelegenheit , den besonderen sound einer irischen fiddle zu studieren . was für eine bandbreite , - auch mit den vielen verschiedenen flöten . die low whistles haben es mir ja angetan ! angelika berns hat eine stimme wie eine nachtigall . ohne jede selbstverliebtheit , kristallklar und schön. euer acapellagesang hat die qualität eines kammerkonzertes .
