Jens Kommnick can’t remember not being interested in music! One of Germany’s most sought after musicians, Jens grew up south of Bremerhaven and is now based in the fishing village of Wremen.  He taught himself to play guitar at a young age, and it is probably due to that, in conjunction with the fact that he later studied classical guitar, that he developed his complex "Celtic finger style". His playing has also been influenced by elements from jazz and rock along the way.  He is featured on more than 50 CD productions, including those of musicans like Reinhard Mey and Brian McNamara or bands like Limerick Junction and Friel’s Kitchen, of which he was member.
